Originally a flatiron favorite, Tamarind restaurant’s outpost in Tribeca is a grand space serving up some of the city’s best Indian food. The extensive menu includes a bevy of traditional Indian dishes from a variety of staples like vegetarian saag paneer—spinach and cottage cheese with ground spices, to the more exotic variations of tandoori barbecued meats such as sufiani machli, Sea bass with hung yogurt, dill and lime zest, coated with mixed peppercorns.
