A Note on Safety, Wellness, and Covid-19
Dear Guests,
During these uncertain and challenging times, we would like you to know that your well being and the well being of our staff is of the utmost importance to us. The COVID-19 coronavirus is affecting all of us, in many regions and countries around the world, and we must all be flexible and understanding, and it is truly important that we take care of our families, our loved ones, ourselves and those around us.
We know the way we live our lives will change and that includes travel. With that in mind, we would like you all to know that our cancellation and amendment policy is now extremely flexible, and we understand last-minute changes will be made and, of course, that can happen without any penalty being applied.
The Greenwich Hotel is strictly adhering to the advice of the CDC (Centre for Disease Control) and local health authorities, following stringent health and safety guidelines and taking the highest level of preventative measures to make sure our guests and staff are safe and well cared for All areas within the hotel are being given additional attention with regards to sanitizing, disinfecting and cleaning. All the ‘touch’ surfaces in the public areas are being sanitized every one or two hours. Special attention is being paid to the Spa and each piece of equipment is sanitized after each use and all ‘touch’ areas every hour or two. The guest rooms are being sanitized each day and following a departure, where possible, the room will remain vacant for a 24 hr period to allow a more complete sanitization. Whilst a guest is in residence if they feel more comfortable not having the housekeeping staff enter their room, we are happy to accommodate this or any other reasonable request. We are here to help.
In addition, all ‘back of house’ areas are receiving the same attention and continuing education is offered to staff in respect of personal hygiene, hand washing, and self-awareness of symptoms, and advice to stay at home if feeling unwell for any reason.
